Prenatal Care
Prenatal Care
During the Covid-19 pandemic, stress, isolation and limited access to prenatal support were linked to increased risks for mothers and babies, including a rise in stillbirths. In response, three prenatal care concepts were developed with input from doctors and expecting mothers. The products were designed to support monitoring, stress management and emotional connection during pregnancy from home. Count tracks fetal movement patterns, while Breathe supports breathing exercises and pain management during labour. The project also explores how AI could support more continuous and accessible prenatal care in the future.
