FIDI is an AI-powered feeding robot designed to improve independence for people with disabilities. Equipped with a robotic arm, camera, and interchangeable cutlery, it serves meals by adapting to the user’s position and pace. This inclusive design reduces the need for constant caregiver assistance, making mealtimes more convenient and comfortable. Ergonomics and portability were prioritized during development, with 3D prototypes enabling ongoing improvements. Now available, FIDI empowers users by promoting independence and simplifying daily routines.
