Enso began as a study in rethinking the everyday measuring tape. Instead of a thin, sharp-edged tool, a wider circular form was created to sit comfortably in the hand. The body supports the thumb’s natural motion, with a rotary action shaped to follow a familiar arc and stop before strain. As the tape extends, part of the circle opens; when it retracts, the form closes again. The result is a calm, tactile object designed to feel intuitive, balanced, and memorable in daily use.
