A mechanism concept was developed as a playful reinterpretation of the classic G-hook. The object was machined from aluminium and shaped with soft, rounded edges to create a smooth, tactile interaction. Emphasis was placed on the physical action, where engagement and release are experienced through touch alone. Without relying on electronics or complexity, the design explores how a purely mechanical solution can feel refined and considered through careful control of form, material, and movement.
