KARRI

KARRI

KARRI is a voice messaging device designed for children aged 5–13. Developed through a research-led process with families, the Generation 2 model was shaped by interviews and hands-on testing to prioritise simplicity and ease of use. Messages can be played, repeated, deleted, or recorded through intuitive slide gestures, making communication straightforward for young users. Prototyping and functional models were used to refine the design and validate its usability, resulting in a child-friendly product that balances function, safety, and accessibility.
