Cove is a conceptual family of chairs designed to provide support and comfort to chemotherapy patients. Customizable features like privacy panels, lighting, temperature control, and reclining ensure a tailored experience. A companion seat model allows a support person to sit comfortably alongside the patient. Inspired by loved ones undergoing chemotherapy, a diverse team of designers redefined treatment chairs using elements from upscale home furnishings and premium airplane cabins. This project focused on the specific needs of chemotherapy patients and their support persons, combining feedback and ergonomic guidelines into Cove’s design.
