Star Wars inspired the design of a retro-futuristic watch due to its strong association with retrofuturism. The designer, a fan since college, studied starships and droids from the Star Wars universe, noting key features and making quick sketches. These sketches were converted into a 3D model using CAD. The final color scheme was based on BB-8, featuring its distinctive orange and white colors.
