A range of minimal, planet-conscious luggage was created by Morrama for Italian brand Phoenix. Three suitcase sizes were developed with sustainability in mind, emphasizing design for disassembly, circularity, modularity, and desire. Internally, unnecessary materials were removed, revealing assembly fixings and providing extra packing space. The telescopic handle, spanning the full width, offers greater control and doesn't encroach on packing space. The handle is easily removable and replaceable with a patented fixing system. Recycled polycarbonate and recycled nylon textiles were used in manufacturing. Phoenix will also implement a take-back scheme to repair or recycle Tela suitcases.
